American Samoa's Constitution...

About the Event
Composed in the 1950s, approved in 1960 and revised in 1967, American Samoa's Constitution has been the subject of nearly a dozen Constitutional Convention forums, most recently in 2010. While voter referendums had approved several amendments in the 1970s, subsequent electorate majorities have rejected change. Archival documents and photographs of these events will be on display at the Tafuna Archives from Oct 19th to the 29th. An additional exhibition of American Samoa's responses to COVID-19 will also be featured to encourage public consciousness.
